HubSpot AI integration for Sales Hub, Service Hub and Marketing Hub

Breeze is HubSpot's own AI, and HubSpot's Claude connector answers whoever asks in a chat. We connect Claude so your rules run on HubSpot deal, ticket and contact events. Which changes wait for a person is your call.

How does a HubSpot AI integration work?

A HubSpot AI integration from AILoopwise connects Claude to your HubSpot account through an app on HubSpot's developer platform, the remote MCP server or HubSpot's own Claude connector, with scopes your Super Admin grants. A deal, ticket or contact event starts it; Claude leaves Tasks, inbox comments and proposed property changes, and you decide which of them a named person approves first.

Where things stand

  • As of 2026-11-04, HubSpot's connector for Claude is listed in Claude's directory as made by HubSpot, with 36 tools for contacts, companies, deals, tickets and campaigns.1
  • As of 2026-11-04, HubSpot says its Claude connector can view, create and update records but not delete them, and recommends setting write tools to Needs Approval.2
  • On 2026-11-04, HubSpot's MCP page listed write access to core CRM objects while its FAQ called standard records read-only.3
  • As of 2026-11-04, HubSpot says Revenue Hub evolved from Commerce Hub and covers quoting, contracts, billing and payments.19

What we work on in HubSpot

  • Breeze

HubSpot's AI: Breeze Assistant, prebuilt agents such as Customer Agent, Prospecting Agent and Data Agent, and Agent Builder for custom agents, all visible in Agent Hub.

The jobs HubSpot packages: customer answers on email, chat and WhatsApp, prospecting on buying signals, and next steps after a call.

    Route: Native, inside HubSpot.

Limits: Agentic workflows and some HubSpot-built agents need Professional or Enterprise, plus HubSpot Credits.7,8,20,21

  • Sales Hub

HubSpot's sales software: deals and pipelines, Lead Management, sequences, HubSpot Notetaker, Deal Scoring, Deal Progression and Forecasting.

Checking a deal stage against your exit criteria, drafting the follow-up after a logged meeting, and filling your qualification properties.

Route: Deal Progression suggests CRM updates natively; Claude works through the connector, or through an app that reacts to deal property changes.

Limits: Sequences need Sales Hub or Service Hub Professional or Enterprise and an assigned Sales or Service seat.15,9,5,12

  • Service Hub

HubSpot's service software: the Help Desk Workspace for tickets, SLA Management, Knowledge Base, Customer Success Workspace and Customer Agent.

Summarising a ticket before it changes hands, drafting a reply from a Knowledge Base article, and suggesting category and priority from your own list.

Route: Customer Agent answers customers natively; our drafts land as internal inbox comments, which HubSpot never sends to the visitor.

Limits: The Claude connector reads conversations but cannot create or update them.16,21,11,2

  • Marketing Hub

HubSpot's marketing software: AI-Powered Emails, Audience Segments, Campaign Agent, Nurture Agent, Content Agent, and HubSpot AEO for visibility in AI answers.

Turning a brief into segment criteria with the reason each contact is in, and checking email drafts against brand rules.

Route: Campaign Agent and Nurture Agent natively; through the remote MCP server, segments are writable and campaigns read-only.

Limits: Campaign attribution data is read-only through the connector; by default, nothing goes out until the marketing manager sends it.17,3,2

  • Data Hub

HubSpot's data management software: Data Sync across 100+ integrations, Data Quality monitoring, formatting automation, and AI-built datasets on Professional.

Finding duplicates HubSpot's matching misses, contacts whose lifecycle stage contradicts their deals, and properties nobody fills in.

Route: Its Send a webhook workflow action can start a Claude build from any workflow.

Limits: Send a webhook needs Data Hub Professional or Enterprise. HubSpot deduplicates contacts by email and companies by domain, except API-created companies.18,6,22

  • Revenue Hub

HubSpot's quoting and billing software, evolved from Commerce Hub: CPQ on the deal record, quotes, invoices, payments, subscriptions, and Revenue Agent (beta).

Turning a call note's scope into line items on a draft quote and checking discounts against your guardrails.

Route: The remote MCP server lists quotes, line items and invoices as read and write; the Claude connector reads invoices and payments only.

Limits: We never touch payments; by default, a quote leaves only when the deal owner sends it.19,3,2

  • Smart CRM

HubSpot's AI-powered CRM under every hub: contacts, companies, deals, tickets, and custom objects on Enterprise, with required fields from Starter and calculated properties from Professional.

Record summaries, answers across associated records, and the context every job below reads first.

Route: Every route reads Smart CRM under the signed-in user's HubSpot permissions.

Limits: Neither the Claude connector nor the remote MCP server reaches custom Sensitive Data Properties.7,23,2,3

Where AI helps in HubSpot

  • Routing new contacts from forms and imports

    • Contact
    • Company
    • Lead
    • Task
    When
A new Contact is created, from a form or an import
    Reads
the submitted properties, lifecycle stage, and the Company matched by domain with its owner
    AI
checks fit against your criteria, finds the Company owner, and drafts a first reply that states the routing reason
    Result
a proposed contact owner and a Task holding the draft; nothing is sent
    Approved by
the SDR or sales rep who owns the Company5,22,15
  • Duplicate companies and empty properties

    • Contact
    • Company
    • Property
    • Segment
    When
Weekly, and before a large import or a new report
    Reads
companies with similar names but different domains, API-created companies, and empty required properties
    AI
groups likely duplicates that email and domain matching missed, proposes the surviving record, and lists empty properties by owner
    Result
a merge proposal per group and a fix list per owner; the build merges nothing
    Approved by
the HubSpot Super Admin or RevOps owner22,3
  • Deal follow-up and stage check

    • Deal
    • Meeting
    • Note
    • Task
    When
A deal's stage property changes, or a meeting is logged on the deal
    Reads
the deal's properties, associated contacts and their roles, the latest note and the meeting record
    AI
checks the new stage against your exit criteria and drafts the follow-up email, quoting the note behind each line
    Result
a Task listing the gaps plus the email draft; the stage stays where the rep set it
    Approved by
the Deal owner in Sales Hub5,3,15
  • Ticket summaries and reply drafts

    • Ticket
    • Thread
    • Company
    • Knowledge Base
    When
A ticket is created, or a new message arrives on its inbox thread
    Reads
the thread, the company's open deals and earlier tickets, and matching Knowledge Base articles
    AI
writes a short summary, suggests category and priority, and drafts a reply that names the article it used
    Result
an internal comment on the thread; HubSpot shows comments only in the inbox
    Approved by
the service agent who owns the ticket5,11,16
  • Segment and campaign prep

    • Segment
    • Contact
    • Campaign
    • Marketing email
    When
A marketing manager files a campaign brief
    Reads
the brief, contact properties and engagement history, and metrics from earlier campaigns
    AI
proposes segment criteria with the reason each contact qualifies, and checks the email draft against your brand rules
    Result
a draft segment and comments on the email; nothing is sent or published
    Approved by
    the marketing manager3,17,2

How we connect

HubSpot supplies three of these four routes. Your hubs, their tiers and your Super Admin decide which are open.

Vendor MCPHubSpot connector for ClaudeMade by HubSpot: a Claude user searches, creates and updates CRM records in a chat, within that user's HubSpot permissions.people start each task themselves in Claudeacts only when asked; no delete; bulk changes of up to 10 records; users who are not Super Admins need a Super Admin's approval first.1,2
Vendor MCPRemote MCP server (mcp.hubspot.com)HubSpot's endpoint for any MCP-compatible client or agent, reached through a user-level app on the new developer platform.an agent uses HubSpot as one tool beside other systemsHubSpot's own page disagreed on read versus write on 2026-11-04, so we test writes first; no custom Sensitive Data Properties.3
API buildAn app on HubSpot's developer platformOur app hears HubSpot webhooks, calls Claude, and writes back a Task, an inbox comment or a proposed change.the job must fire on a deal, ticket or contact event with your rules, without anyone opening a chatnew legacy apps can no longer be created; your Super Admin grants the scopes with us.12,5,11

Breeze covers the jobs HubSpot packages, and Deal Progression already suggests CRM updates after calls. If those agents are in your hubs and match your deal stages and ticket categories, use Breeze and build nothing. If one person asking in a chat is the whole need, HubSpot's Claude connector is enough. A Claude build earns its place when your rules must run on a HubSpot event, or a step needs a system outside HubSpot.

AILoopwise is Certified in the Claude Partner Network.

Is this a fit?

A good fit

  • Sales Hub Professional or Enterprise teams whose deal stages drift from the activity
  • Service Hub teams retyping the same Knowledge Base answer
  • Marketing Hub teams whose segment criteria live in one person's head
  • A RevOps owner or Super Admin who grants app scopes and reviews proposals

Not a fit

  • Breeze agents you already pay for do the job the way you work
  • One person asking occasional questions: HubSpot's Claude connector covers that
  • A process that depends on data held in custom Sensitive Data Properties

Limits and data handling

  • Apps distributed through HubSpot's marketplace get 110 requests every 10 seconds per installing account, and the API limit increase add-on does not raise that.4
  • The workflow action Send a webhook needs Data Hub Professional or Enterprise; below that tier, the app's own webhook subscriptions start the job.6,12
  • HubSpot retries a failed webhook up to 10 times over 24 hours and guarantees neither order nor single delivery, so the build rereads each record before writing.14,5
  • With Sensitive Data on, the Claude connector reads no engagement data; neither it nor the remote MCP server reaches custom Sensitive Data Properties.2,3

We agree with you, per project, where each part of the system runs and who can access the data, typically inside your own systems and accounts. When we use Claude through Anthropic's API, the model call runs at Anthropic and is governed by contract.

How a project runs

  1. 01

Find the loop We sit with your team and list the work that comes back every week. Then we pick the loop that costs the most hours.

  2. 02

Map it Every step, every tool, every decision: where the inquiry lands, who touches it, what they look up, where the time goes.

  3. 03

Build the agents Each step gets an agent with the skills to do it inside your tools. One reads and sorts every inquiry, one logs it in the CRM, one pulls up the customer's history, one drafts the reply and the follow-ups.

  4. 04

Add the checkers A second set of agents checks every result: wrong data, a duplicate, a missed follow-up. Anything unclear goes to a person.

  5. 05

Close the loop The loop runs. Your team approves, handles the exceptions and talks to the customer.

Step 2 includes your HubSpot Super Admin, who grants the app's scopes and approves the Claude connector for others.

Questions about HubSpot

How do I use AI in HubSpot?
Through Breeze, HubSpot's own AI, through HubSpot's Claude connector, or through a build on HubSpot's developer platform. Breeze Assistant and agents such as Customer Agent cover the jobs HubSpot packages; the connector suits people who ask in a chat. Your own stage rules and ticket categories, fired by a HubSpot event, need a build with an approval step.
What can HubSpot AI do?
HubSpot's AI, Breeze, drafts content and summarises records in Breeze Assistant and runs prebuilt agents. Customer Agent answers customers by email, chat, WhatsApp and voice, then hands off to your team; Data Agent answers questions about contacts and companies. Sales Hub adds Deal Scoring and Deal Progression; Marketing Hub adds Campaign Agent and Nurture Agent.
Does HubSpot have an MCP server?
Yes, two. The remote server at mcp.hubspot.com gives MCP clients access to CRM records through a user-level app on HubSpot's new developer platform. The local Developer MCP server works with the HubSpot CLI for building apps. On 2026-11-04 HubSpot's page listed write access to core objects but its FAQ called standard records read-only, so we test writes first.
How do I connect HubSpot to Claude?
The quickest way is HubSpot's own connector in Claude's directory; it needs a paid Claude plan, and anyone who is not a Super Admin needs a Super Admin's approval first. Other clients connect through HubSpot's remote MCP server and a user-level app. For jobs that start on HubSpot events, AILoopwise builds an app on the developer platform.
Is the HubSpot Claude connector enough, or do I need an integration?
The connector is enough when a person starts every task in Claude, because it waits to be asked. An integration is needed when work must start on a deal stage change or a new ticket and apply your written rules every time. An app on HubSpot's developer platform hears those events and leaves drafts for a named person.
Can Claude change HubSpot records without asking?
Only if someone sets the connector's write tools to Always allow; HubSpot recommends Needs Approval instead. The connector cannot delete records and changes at most 10 at once. In our builds, Claude writes Tasks, inbox comments and proposals by default, and stage moves, merges, sends and anything a customer sees wait for the person named in the workflow. You decide which steps keep that sign-off.
How much does HubSpot AI cost?
HubSpot sets that through your subscription and HubSpot Credits, and HubSpot prices are not ours to quote. Customer Agent, for example, needs Professional or Enterprise and runs on HubSpot Credits. A Claude build on HubSpot is priced on its own; what moves that price is the number of jobs, the hub tier each needs, such as Data Hub for workflow webhooks, and the approval steps.
