TikTok ads automation for Smart+, Instant Forms and the Events API
Smart+ and Symphony make and serve ads. We connect Claude to your TikTok ad account, Leads Center and Events API, so results are judged on your CRM. Which writes wait for a person is your call.
How does TikTok ads automation with Claude work?
TikTok ads automation from AILoopwise connects Claude to your ad account through TikTok's own MCP server, the Marketing API and the Events API. Claude reads reports and Instant Form leads, maps CRM lead status to TikTok's four funnel stages and drafts change lists. TikTok documents no confirmation step, so you decide which budget changes, launches and uploads a person approves first.
Where things stand
- As of 2026-11-04, TikTok's own connector is in Claude's directory, made by TikTok, and its listed tools include smart_plus_ad_create, so it can write.4
- As of 2026-11-04, TikTok's MCP help pages say agents can create campaigns and adjust budgets, and describe no confirmation step before a change.1,2
- As of 2026-11-04, a TikTok CRM event set needs a Lead Status plus a Lead Id, Email, Phone or Click Id, mapped to four funnel stages.12
- As of 2026-11-04, TikTok's AI-generated content toggle cannot be changed after submission unless the media changes, and duplicating a campaign resets it.10
What we work on in TikTok
TikTok Ads Manager, Marketing API and Automated Rules
Ads Manager holds campaigns, ad groups and ads. The Marketing API reaches them from code, and Automated Rules pause ads, raise budgets or bids and send email alerts when your conditions are met.
Scheduled reports that explain changes in words, and change lists a marketer applies.
Smart+
TikTok's automated campaign type for sales, app promotion, leads or traffic. You supply KPIs, creative assets, geography and language; Smart+ shifts budget towards the strongest creative and pauses weak performers.
Judging Smart+ campaigns on the leads your CRM marks qualified, side by side with your manual campaigns.
Symphony Creative Studio
TikTok's creative tool for every logged-in TikTok for Business user: a script generator, Symphony Digital Avatars that narrate in several languages, and translation with dubbing and optional lip-sync.
A Claude brief, built from the ads that brought qualified leads, becomes the prompt your team gives the script generator.
TikTok Pixel and Events API
The Pixel sends browser events. The Events API sends web, app and offline events, a CRM included, from a server, with match keys.
Comparing Pixel and server events for duplicates and gaps, and keeping the CRM event set's stage mapping current.
Lead Generation with Instant Forms
Lead Generation campaigns whose Instant Form opens inside TikTok. Forms are built under Tools > Instant Page from templates or with 'Generate with AI', and need your privacy policy URL.
Moving each lead into the CRM with a checked owner and a drafted first reply.
Spark Ads
Ads built from organic posts, your own or a creator's. Content Suite gives each authorised video a Spark Ads authorization code, by Video Request, Account Authorization or Off-Platform Authorization.
An authorisation register with expiry dates and a drafted renewal note per creator.
TikTok for Business MCP server and Agentic Hub
TikTok's MCP server exposes campaign management, performance reporting, audience configuration and creative operations as tools. The Agentic Hub is TikTok's marketplace for AI Skills that work with connected agents.
Plain-language questions about spend, ad groups and audiences, and a weekly review built on read tools such as report_integrated_get.
Where AI helps in TikTok
Instant Form leads into the CRM
Instant FormLead Generation campaignLeads Center
- When
- Someone submits an Instant Form in a Lead Generation campaign
- Reads
- the form answers, the ad and ad group the lead came from, and any existing CRM record for the same email or phone
- AI
- checks the answers against your qualifying questions, matches the existing record and drafts a first reply that names the offer in the ad
- Result
- a proposed owner and a reply draft on the CRM record; nothing is sent
- Approved by
- the sales rep who owns the CRM record created from the Instant Form19,13
CRM lead status back to TikTok
CRM event setEvents ManagerLead Statusfunnel stage
- When
- A lead from a TikTok campaign changes status in the CRM
- Reads
- the new status, the Lead Id or Click Id, and email or phone where consent allows
- AI
- maps the status to one of the four funnel stages agreed in Events Manager, flags values that map nowhere and holds rows without an identifier
- Result
- a postback batch and a list of held rows with the reason
- Approved by
- the marketing operations lead, who signs off the stage mapping and releases each batch12,8
Pixel and Events API signal check
PixelEvents APIEvent Deduplication
- When
- Weekly, and after every site release
- Reads
- browser events from the Pixel, server events from the Events API, and the consent setting in your tag manager or consent tool
- AI
- compares both streams event by event, lists duplicates that deduplication should have merged and events missing on one side
- Result
- a written fix list for whoever maintains the site
- Approved by
- the owner of the site's tracking8,14
Weekly account review with a Smart+ readout
Smart+ campaignmanual campaignad groupreport_integrated_get
- When
- Every Monday, through the MCP server's read tools
- Reads
- spend and TikTok-reported conversions per campaign, plus CRM leads by stage tagged with the campaign
- AI
- writes the week in plain language, compares Smart+ with manual campaigns on qualified leads and marks where TikTok's count and the CRM disagree
- Result
- a one-page review with proposed changes, none applied
- Approved by
- the performance marketing lead, who decides any budget split5,4,1
Pre-submission check for AI content and policy
AdAI-generated content togglecaptioncampaign duplication
- When
- An ad is ready to submit in Ads Manager, or a campaign was duplicated
- Reads
- production notes on which tools touched each asset, such as Symphony avatars or dubbing, plus caption and overlay text
- AI
- flags non-Spark ads whose media is fully or significantly AI-made, re-flags duplicated campaigns where the toggle was reset, and checks text for political content
- Result
- a checklist per ad before submission
- Approved by
- the person who submits the ad10,11,6

- When
- Daily, from Content Suite's CSV export
- Reads
- each authorised video, its code, its authorisation type and start date
- AI
- works out each expiry from the period shown or the 365-day default, flags videos in live ads that expire within a month and drafts a renewal note per creator
- Result
- an expiry list and draft notes

How we connect
Four routes into a TikTok ad account. What starts the work decides the route: TikTok's own AI, a question in Claude, a CRM change or Zapier.
| Route | What it is | Fits when | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Built inSmart+, Symphony and Automated Rules | Smart+ automates targeting, optimisation and creative; Symphony writes scripts, builds avatars and dubs; Automated Rules pause, notify and change budgets or bids on your conditions. | making and serving creative inside TikTok, with rules you define | They work on what TikTok sees. CRM outcomes reach them only through a CRM event set.5,6,18,12 |
| Vendor MCPTikTok for Business MCP server | TikTok's server, listed in Claude's connector directory, with read tools for reports, pixels and identities and write tools such as smart_plus_ad_create. | someone already working in Claude who asks about spend, ad groups or audiences | TikTok describes no confirmation step. Owners on Claude Team and Enterprise can set its write tools to Needs approval or Blocked for everyone.1,4,15 |
| API buildA build on the Marketing API and Events API | Our service reads reports on a schedule and sends CRM lead status and server events to TikTok, each batch released by a person by default. | work that starts on a schedule or a CRM change, with nobody opening a chat | The Marketing API needs developer registration; TikTok's portal could not be read, so approval steps are confirmed with you.7,8,12 |
| iPaaSZapier through Leads Center | TikTok's documented path from Leads Center > Connect CRM: Instant Form fields into CRM fields, and CRM status back as postback. | teams that already run Zapier and need the basic flow now | It moves fields. Held rows, owner checks and reply drafts need a step of their own.12,13 |
Smart+ decides who sees which creative and moves budget between ads; Symphony writes the script and dubs the video; Automated Rules pause or scale on thresholds you set. None of them knows which TikTok leads your sales team qualified, which creator authorisations expire next month, or whether a duplicated campaign lost its AI toggle. A Claude build supplies that layer. If you run Smart+ on TikTok's own conversions and only ask the odd question, TikTok's connector with its write tools gated is enough. Build nothing more.
AILoopwise is Certified in the Claude Partner Network.
Is this a fit?
A good fit
- Teams on Lead Generation campaigns with Instant Forms whose CRM records what happens to each lead
- Performance marketers running Smart+ next to manual campaigns who want both judged on CRM stages
- Social media managers holding Spark Ads authorisations across Video Request, Account and Off-Platform
- Claude Team or Enterprise owners who want TikTok's connector with its write tools held behind a person
Not a fit
- Video production or creator management: we write briefs; people shoot
- Political or issue campaigns: TikTok does not allow paid political advertising
Limits and data handling
- TikTok does not allow paid political advertising in any monetisation feature, so a build checks captions and overlays for political content before submission.11
- Qualifying non-Spark ads need the AI-generated content toggle before submission. Only new media lets you change it later, and campaign duplication resets it.10
- TikTok's MCP server can create campaigns and adjust budgets, and its help pages describe no confirmation step. In Claude, an organisation owner can gate or block those write tools.1,2,15
- TikTok requires advertisers to give notices and obtain consent where the law requires it, and to stop the Pixel's cookies when a visitor declines.14
We agree with you, per project, where each part of the system runs and who can access the data, typically inside your own systems and accounts. When we use Claude through Anthropic's API, the model call runs at Anthropic and is governed by contract.
How a project runs
- 01
Find the loop We sit with your team and list the work that comes back every week. Then we pick the loop that costs the most hours.
- 02
Map it Every step, every tool, every decision: where the inquiry lands, who touches it, what they look up, where the time goes.
- 03
Build the agents Each step gets an agent with the skills to do it inside your tools. One reads and sorts every inquiry, one logs it in the CRM, one pulls up the customer's history, one drafts the reply and the follow-ups.
- 04
Add the checkers A second set of agents checks every result: wrong data, a duplicate, a missed follow-up. Anything unclear goes to a person.
- 05
Close the loop The loop runs. Your team approves, handles the exceptions and talks to the customer.
Step 2 includes whoever administers your TikTok ad account and your CRM, because the CRM event set and the connector's tool settings need both.
Questions about TikTok
- How do I connect TikTok Ads to Claude?
- You add TikTok's own connector from Claude's directory and sign in with your TikTok for Business account; TikTok says no developer credential is needed. It reads reports and can also create campaigns and change budgets, so set its write tools to Needs approval or Blocked first. AILoopwise sets this up and builds scheduled work on the Marketing and Events APIs.
- Does TikTok Ads have an official MCP server?
- Yes. The TikTok for Business MCP server exposes campaign management, performance reporting, audience configuration and creative operations, and TikTok's help page marks the full-disclosure URL as recommended for Claude. TikTok announced it as a Claude connector on 2026-06-30. It reads and writes, and as of 2026-11-04 TikTok describes no confirmation step.
- How do I create TikTok ads with AI?
- With TikTok's own tools. Symphony Creative Studio writes scripts, builds Digital Avatars and dubs video; Smart+ can generate creative and serve it; Instant Forms can be drafted with 'Generate with AI'. AILoopwise produces no video. We write briefs from the ads that brought qualified leads and check AI-content disclosure before an ad is submitted.
- What is TikTok Smart+?
- Smart+ is TikTok's automated campaign type for sales, app promotion, leads or traffic. You give it KPIs, creative, geography and language; it automates targeting, optimisation and creative, shifts budget to the best creative and pauses weak ads. Its weak spot is your CRM: it optimises on what TikTok can see unless a CRM event set reports lead status.
- What is TikTok Symphony, and what does it cost?
- Symphony Creative Studio is TikTok's AI creative tool: a script generator, Symphony Digital Avatars, and translation with dubbing and lip-sync. TikTok's 2025 announcement says it is available to all logged-in TikTok for Business users. We do not quote TikTok's prices; check Symphony's terms in your own account. We connect nothing to Symphony itself.
- What are TikTok AI Skills in the Agentic Hub?
- AI Skills are packaged tasks for everyday marketing work, offered in the Agentic Hub, TikTok's marketplace for agents connected to the TikTok for Business MCP server. They work with agents connected to that server, so the same rule applies: decide in Claude's tool settings which write tools need approval before anyone installs a skill that changes campaigns.
- Can the TikTok connector in Claude change campaigns without asking?
- Yes, unless you stop it. TikTok's help pages describe creating campaigns and adjusting budgets and document no confirmation step. Claude's connector settings let a Team or Enterprise owner mark write tools as Needs approval or Blocked for everyone. Our builds start read-only and, by default, turn every change into a proposal a person applies; which changes keep that step is your decision.
- Do AI-generated TikTok ads need a label?
- Yes, for qualifying ads. A non-Spark ad whose image, video or audio is completely AI-generated or significantly modified by AI needs the toggle 'This ad contains AI-generated content'. It cannot be changed after submission unless the media changes, and duplicating a campaign resets it. Spark ads follow the Community Guidelines instead.
