monday CRM AI integration for Leads, Deals and Emails & Activities
monday CRM ships Sidekick, AI Agents and AI Notetaker. We connect Claude to the same boards through monday's MCP server or GraphQL API, for rules your columns define. Which writes a person approves is your choice.
How does a monday CRM AI integration with Claude work?
A monday CRM AI integration from AILoopwise connects Claude to your Leads and Deals boards through monday's hosted MCP server at mcp.monday.com/mcp, or through a webhook-driven app on its GraphQL API. Claude acts as the signed-in user, reads the Emails & Activities timeline and posts its proposals as updates. You decide which column changes a named person approves.
Where things stand
- As of 2026-11-04, Claude's directory lists a monday.com connector made by monday.com, with 33 tools including get-timeline-items and create-sequence.1
- As of 2026-11-04, every tool call through monday's hosted MCP server runs as a GraphQL request and counts toward the daily API call limit: 1,000 on Standard.2,3
- As of 2026-11-04, monday says its CRM agents can never delete data, and that you review every agent action before it happens.18
- Per monday (read 2026-11-04), AI Notetaker's suggested deal value and next-step updates wait in the Daily Digest for review before they sync.19
What we work on in monday CRM
Leads board and lead management
monday CRM's lead intake: forms, ads, email and integrations feed the lead board, which holds your qualification criteria and AI-powered lead scoring.
Writing the reason behind each fit rating and proposing an owner.
Deals board and Pipeline view
monday calls the Deals board the pipeline execution layer, shown in the built-in Pipeline view; each deal carries an owner, a deal value and a next-step date.
Checking that a stage change comes with a next step and recent activity.
Emails & Activities
The timeline on each CRM item where emails are sent, received and logged, mirrored to the Activities board; AI Notetaker meeting data lands there too.
Reading the latest emails before a draft and summarising a long thread for whoever picks up the deal.
AI Agents
monday CRM's pre-built agents: Lead Sourcing Agent, Calling Agent, Meeting Prep Agent and Pipeline Monitor Agent, plus campaign agents and a no-code agent builder.
Finding and scoring leads against your ideal customer profile, first outreach, pre-call briefs, and pipeline health per rep.
AI Notetaker
monday's meeting recorder for Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, with a page per meeting: recording, transcript, summary, topics.
Turning a call into action items with owners, a drafted follow-up, and suggested deal value and next-step changes.
Sidekick
monday's context-aware AI assistant, built into monday.com and connected to boards, docs and apps; it summarises updates, analyses data and triggers workflows.
A rep asking what changed on a deal, or updating tasks and timelines in conversation.
Automations and AI workflows
monday's rules for lead assignment, follow-ups and activity logging, plus AI workflows that pass work between people and agents. Webhook recipes live in the Automations Center.
The step a rule cannot decide: what a reply means, or whether a deal is ready for the next stage.

How we connect
Four routes to AI in monday CRM; your plan's daily call limit and your admin's connector settings decide which fit.
| Route | What it is | Fits when | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Built inmonday AI: Sidekick, AI Agents, AI Notetaker | monday's own assistant, pre-built CRM agents and meeting recorder, plus deal summaries and email drafting. | their standard jobs match how your team qualifies, prepares and follows up | runs on monday's AI credits; monday's public pages read on 2026-11-04 give no rate per action.5,18,19,20 |
| Vendor MCPmonday.com connector in Claude | Made by monday.com, 33 tools: create and update items, post updates, read board items and timelines, create sequences. | a person asking about or changing items from a Claude chat | acts only when asked, as that person; each tool call counts toward the daily API call limit.1,2,12 |
| Vendor MCPmonday Platform MCP | The hosted server at mcp.monday.com/mcp with 60+ tools, reached by API token, your own OAuth app or dynamic client registration; monday's GitHub repository adds a local server with a --read-only flag. | agents working across monday and other systems, with read-only OAuth scopes where nothing needs writing | no self-service export of MCP or API audit logs.2,11,12,21 |
| API buildA webhook-driven build on the GraphQL API | Our service receives monday webhooks, reads only the items an event names, calls Claude, and writes back an update, a draft item or proposed values. | your rules must run on each board event, with no chat and no polling | private app calls count toward the daily limit, and per-minute complexity budgets apply.3,4,9 |
monday AI is the first answer inside monday CRM: the Lead Sourcing Agent scores leads, AI Notetaker drafts follow-ups, and Sidekick acts on boards with your approval. If those cover your steps, add nothing. A Claude build earns its place when the rule exists only in your account: fit criteria in columns you named, a stage exit rule, an onboarding brief, or a step needing a tool beside monday. If one manager asking in a chat is the whole need, the monday.com connector in Claude is enough.
AILoopwise is Certified in the Claude Partner Network.
Is this a fit?
A good fit
- Teams on monday CRM whose Deals board shows a stage but an empty next-step date
- Admins who built qualification columns on the Leads board and want each rating explained
- Accounts that hand Won deals to onboarding boards in the same monday account
- Pro or Enterprise accounts, or Standard ones with few board events a day
Not a fit
- Sidekick, AI Agents and AI Notetaker already cover the steps you work by
- Designs that re-read whole boards many times a day on Free or Standard
Limits and data handling
- Daily API calls by plan: 200 on Free, 1,000 on Standard or Basic, 10,000 on Pro, 25,000 on Enterprise. The count resets at midnight UTC; past it, calls fail with DAILY_LIMIT_EXCEEDED.3
- MCP tool calls and private-app calls count toward that limit; marketplace apps and monday-built apps do not. So we start jobs from webhooks.2,3,4
- MCP calls run as the signed-in user; monday has no shared service account that bypasses user permissions. Admins approve extra connections under Connectors > Dynamic Connectors.12
- Items on two boards link through the API only after the boards are connected in the connect boards column's settings; we set that up while mapping.10
We agree with you, per project, where each part of the system runs and who can access the data, typically inside your own systems and accounts. When we use Claude through Anthropic's API, the model call runs at Anthropic and is governed by contract.
How a project runs
- 01
Find the loop We sit with your team and list the work that comes back every week. Then we pick the loop that costs the most hours.
- 02
Map it Every step, every tool, every decision: where the inquiry lands, who touches it, what they look up, where the time goes.
- 03
Build the agents Each step gets an agent with the skills to do it inside your tools. One reads and sorts every inquiry, one logs it in the CRM, one pulls up the customer's history, one drafts the reply and the follow-ups.
- 04
Add the checkers A second set of agents checks every result: wrong data, a duplicate, a missed follow-up. Anything unclear goes to a person.
- 05
Close the loop The loop runs. Your team approves, handles the exceptions and talks to the customer.
Step 2 starts with a map of your boards: which columns hold fit, stage, next-step date and deal value, and which boards are already linked.
Questions about monday CRM
- Does monday CRM use AI?
- Yes, its own. monday CRM lists AI Sales Agents, AI Notetaker, Ask AI, deal summaries, data enrichment and email drafting, with Sidekick as its assistant. What they cannot know is the rule only your account has: your fit criteria, column names and hand-offs between boards. AILoopwise builds that part on Claude.
- How do I use monday Sidekick?
- You talk to it inside monday.com. monday describes Sidekick as an assistant connected to your boards, docs and apps that summarises updates, analyses data and triggers workflows. It can update tasks and timelines with your approval, and AI Notetaker's page says it can generate a meeting follow-up email.
- What are the monday CRM AI agents, and is there an AI Lead Agent?
- monday CRM's pre-built agents are the Lead Sourcing Agent, Calling Agent, Meeting Prep Agent and Pipeline Monitor Agent, plus campaign agents and a no-code agent builder. Its lead management page shows the AI Lead Agent enriching lead data. monday says you review every agent action first, and agents never delete data.
- How do I connect monday.com to Claude?
- Add the monday.com connector from Claude's directory and sign in; monday.com built it, with 33 tools. It acts as you, within your monday permissions, and a monday admin can approve or disable connections. For jobs that start on a board event, not in a chat, we build on the same endpoint or the GraphQL API.
- Does monday.com have an MCP server?
- Yes. monday hosts its Platform MCP server at mcp.monday.com/mcp, lists 60+ tools with their GraphQL equivalents, and names Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot and Gemini as clients. Each tool call counts toward your daily API call limit. Your own OAuth app with scopes such as boards:read keeps a connection read-only.
- Can I use monday.com with Claude Code?
- Yes, through the same MCP server. monday's GitHub repository offers the hosted endpoint and a local server run with npx and a MONDAY_TOKEN, with a --read-only flag. It documents Claude Desktop, not Claude Code, so we confirm the setup against Claude Code's own documentation.
- Claude or ChatGPT: how do I integrate monday.com with either?
- The same way: monday's MCP documentation names Claude and ChatGPT among the clients of mcp.monday.com/mcp, and both spend the same daily API calls. Pick the assistant your team already uses. AILoopwise builds on Claude, and our webhook builds run the same whichever chat assistant your reps keep.
- How do monday AI credits work?
- monday says each CRM plan includes a package of AI credits, AI Notetaker uses them after its trial hours, and the AI cost center tracks spend per team with limits and alerts. The pages we read on 2026-11-04 give no rate per action, so we quote none. We price Claude work on workflows, events and approval steps.
